He felt that he walked better. Will try to provide extra depth shoe to avoid toe scraping.

NSVD at term, delayed speech, only words till age 5, walked at 14 months, 1-1 ½ years ago began turninng in R foot. Falling a lot, xrays of knees, (scanogram) has sustained clonus at the knees and brisk dtrs at the knees, sensory level about 2 inches below the nipple line. Had afo made (off the shelf) made at piolin here in la paz. Alejandro will provide letter to go to DIF on Thursday to request MRI of the TL spine to r/o syringomyelia etc…. cost 1200 pesos not custom.

Right club foot, had 2 surgeries, with subsequent leg lenth discrepancy, during lengenthing about 1 month after starting had necrosis of medial midfoot (May 2008) has had grafting, scar got infected and sluffed. Now has 10 degree plantar flexion contracture, z foot deformity and limited mobility. Brad cast for an AFO with heel wedge, has about ½ inch discrepancy. Will return next week for delivery.

Varus knees, began walking normally, then developed worse gate and leg deformities, was seen in the Flying Sam clinic in Lopes Mateos, they took xrays, apparently discussed at home and then told the family that there was nothing they could do. Mex MD told them she has rickets, and recommended calcium.

Returns with MRI, has lesion at T2 – T4. Discussed at length getting insurance, Alejandro reviewed the study with me, Brad Cast for a Right AFO.
